A Flickr Vision Board

Sometimes, using the Law of Attraction requires a little work to get your mind clear. A great way to get your Intentions into focus is to create a Vision Board. There are some great tutorials on what exactly you need to do that. However, it's possible to create an Online Vision Board using a few free tools. Essentially, you just use the SnipShot extension for Firefox to post to Flickr, but if you're on IE, or new to Flickr...

Here are the steps:

1. Get a Flickr account.

If you already have a Flickr or Yahoo account, just sign in.
Go to Flickr.com, click on the Sign Up button... it sends you to Yahoo, click on Sign Up again, fill out the form, and you'll be set.

2. Get Firefox.

If you already have it, skip this step.
We're going to be using a Firefox extension. After it's done downloading, install it and start it up.

3. Get the SnipShot extension.

After you click "Install Now", it should install automatically. Then you'll need to restart Firefox.

4. Log in to Flickr.

Make sure you have cookies enabled, so it will remember you.

5. Search for some pictures to add to your board, edit them in SnipShot.

For example, if I want a 60" Plasma TV, I could go to BestBuy.com, and find the one I want. Then I just right-click on the picture and choose the "Edit in SnipShot" options.

6. Edit the picture, and save to Flickr.

At this point, you can either resize the picture, crop out anything you don't want, or just simply Save it. Once you click Save, it will ask you how you want it saved, and you just need to click the Flickr button.

7. Edit on Flickr.

After it uploads, you'll get a confirmation screen, and the option to change the Title of the picture, or the Description, or the Tags. Personally, I like putting a positive state in the description box.

8. Finalize it and share it.

After you click "OK", you're done. Now you can share it with others, or look around Flickr for other ways to organize you're Visions... such as creating Sets. You also probably want to click on the "You" menu item, go to "Your Account", and create a memorable web address that you can share.
